Causes Of Typhoid Disease:
It is caused by a bacterium called Salmonella typhi (salmonella typhi is a rod-shaped bacteria. It is also called Gram-negative bacteria. The bacteria that is excreted in human stool contaminate food and water sources.

- Use fresh and washed fruits and vegetables Properly
- Only eat food that is still hot
Treatment of Typhoid Fever:
The most commonly used antibiotic is:
- Ciprofloxacin
- Ceftriaxone and ofloxacin
- Antibiotics can be advised after culture and Sensitivity also.

Collect a 5ml blood sample into the Red Top tube or may be collecting the blood sample in the dropper by Pricking the Patient’s finger. Now Preface the test cart by following the displayed. Add one drop of serum plasma or whole blood and one drop of buffer to the typhoid device. Now wait five minutes and see the result. If only the control line is visible, the result will be negative, and if either the test line IgG or IgM is visible, the result will be positive.
