CA-125 Test

CA-125 Test Cancer Antigen (CA-125) is a protein found in Ovarian Cancer cells. A CA-125 blood test measures the amount of cancer antigen 125 in the bloodstream. The cells produce the protein and it can be found in the blood. Doctors may use a CA-125 test to monitor certain cancers during and after treatment. The CA-125 test may indicate early signs of ovarian cancer in individuals with a very high risk of the disease.

How Does Someone Perform a CA-125 Blood Test Greatly Reduce

A CA-125 blood test involved taking a blood sample torn kit, typically from a vein in the arm. First, a healthcare provider will clean and disinfect the area with an antiseptic.
